How to enable command blocks on a Minecraft server.

None of my maps will work if you don't turn on command blocks for your server! In this quick blog, I will show you how to fix this problem!

For some unbeknownst reason, Minecraft has command blocks off by default on multiplayer servers. Because of this, you must first change a server setting before you load the map on a server.

Select the "Create New" option from the menu.

Find your server's files and look for a "server.properties" file

I myself have an FTP client I use to connect, but most server providers offer some mechanism to allow you to access your files.

Either use the server host client to edit the file, or download the file manually and edit it (then reupload it). What you are looking for is a line called enable-command-block=false. Change the "false" to "true" and you should be good to go!

Click on the template you want to create.

The next time you load a map on the server (after a restart), command blocks will now work correctly!
